LUTHI is an eclectic, indie-funk collective led by frontman Christian Luthi. 

From a young age, Christian had a knack for rhythm — playing bass and cello, as well as drumming in multiple jazz ensembles through grade-school.  Not one to shy away from the spotlight, Luthi developed a love of performing through musical theater long before he fronted a band. Those early years on stage led him to study vocal performance at UW-Madison, where he continued to develop both his voice, and his individuality as an artist.  In 2009, he decided to leave his small hometown in Wisconsin to pursue a music career in Nashville, TN.

Today, LUTHI blends soulful vocals, rhythmic instinct, lyrical depth, and a flair for showmanship, into a live show like no other.  It’s a sound built to move people, and night after night, LUTHI does just that.  Christian’s studio recordings are consistently evolving as he collaborates with a wide range of producers, and artists, in Nashville and beyond. LUTHI is constantly reinventing their sound — shaping a dynamic, ever-shifting sonic palette that gives every new release its own character - forever fresh, distinct, and always unmistakably “LUTHI”. 

The band has toured extensively, and earned dates along their journey with Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Moon Taxi, The Wailers, and Magic City Hippies.. all in addition to festival slots at Bonnaroo, Hangout Fest, 420 Fest, Electric Forest, Hulaween, and more.
